Pricing

Virtually all patients considering elective plastic surgery wonder about prices, whether they live in Beverly Hills, Pasadena, Encino, or another Los Angeles community.  Yet few plastic surgery practices make this information easily accessible before patients come in for their consultations.  Because medical insurance does not cover plastic surgery, cost is a factor when a patient is choosing a plastic surgeon.

While it is not possible to provide an exact quote without a personalized consultation and a physical examination, we do provide a price range reflecting the general cost of aesthetic surgery procedures at our practice. We hope this information is helpful to patients, but strongly recommend that the price should be only one factor in the choice of your plastic surgeon.

What Is Included in Our Pricing

Knowing what is included in the pricing of plastic surgery is important. If various fees are not included in the quoted price, you may be in for a bit of sticker shock when you see the final bill. Our office provides complete pricing transparency. No surprises. Our surgery pricing includes:

  • Your personalized consultation.  The nominal fee of $150.00 that you pay at your consultation will be applied to your total cost of surgery
  • Your pre-operative appointment
  • Basic lab fees
  • Covid-19 testing fee (for patients who are not vaccinated)
  • Arnicare (rhinoplasty and blepharoplasty patients)
  • Plastic surgeon fees
  • Anesthesiologist fees
  • Operating room fees
  • Surgical team fees
  • Implant(s) (if applicable)
  • Pathology (if applicable)
  • Post-surgery garments (if applicable)
  • 1 year of post-operative appointments

Costs that are not a part of our pricing include: prescription medications (electronic prescriptions are provided at your pre-operative appointment), anti-bacterial soap, stood softener, and, in some cases, a medical clearance and/or EKG depending on your age or medical history. We explain your particulars during your consultation.

All pricing and terms are subject to change without notice.

Breast Surgery Pricing

The cost of breast enhancement surgery can vary when a patient decides to combine procedures, such as a breast lift with implants. The extent of surgery influences the final cost, which is why we have listed a range of prices.

Breast Augmentation: $7,499 to $8,399

Cohesive silicone gel breast implants vary in price and cost more than saline implants. Visit our Breast Augmentation page.

Breast Lift: $9,905 to $12,938

Several factors affect the cost of a breast lift: the incision site, the amount of skin removed, and whether the patient wants a fuller look by adding implants (saline or silicone).  The cost is higher for patients getting breast lifts after losing significant weight because more time is needed in the operating room.  Visit our Breast Lift page.

Breast Reduction: $12,560 to $15,000

Much like a breast lift, the cost of breast reduction surgery can vary depending on the extent of skin and tissue removed and the incisions used.  These factors can influence the amount of time in the operating room. Visit our Breast Reduction page.

Male Breast Reduction (Gynecomastia): $7,635 to $8,000

Male breast reduction surgery corrects a condition called gynecomastia, and the cost of the surgery depends on the technique used, including whether liposuction and/or skin excision is involved.  Visit our Male Breast Reduction page.

Body Contouring Surgery Pricing

Body contouring procedures, such as a tummy tuck or plastic surgery after weight loss, typically involve more time in the operating room.

Tummy Tuck: $6,080 to $12,497

The majority of patients undergo a full tummy tuck, but in a few cases, Dr. Vartany can get optimal results with a mini tummy tuck. A tummy tuck often involves liposuction. Visit our Tummy Tuck page.

Thigh Lift: $9,905 to $14,504

The cost of a thigh lift is determined by the technique, the amount of skin to be excised, and whether liposuction is necessary. Visit our Thigh Lift page.

Arm Lift (Brachioplasty): $9,905 to $14,504

The cost of an arm lift is determined by the technique, the amount of skin to be excised, and whether liposuction is necessary. Visit our Arm Lift page.

Liposuction: Starting at $3,299

The cost of liposuction is determined by the size of the treatment area and the type of anesthesia. Visit our Liposuction page.

Mommy Makeover: $15,961 to $40,000

One of the most sought-after surgeries by women today. A Mommy Makeover has no set components.  The beauty of the makeover is that it is customized to each individual patient. Surgery may be as simple as a breast augmentation with a tummy tuck, while other patients require more extensive reconstruction.  In some cases, a patient will need to undergo multiple surgeries to achieve their desired outcome. A personalized consultation with Dr. Vartany will allow him to tailor a surgical plan specifically to you and for your specific needs. Visit our Mommy Makeover page.

Facial Rejuvenation Surgery

Facial plastic surgery costs may vary considerably depending on the procedures being done. Combining multiple procedures into a single operation can be cost-effective and provide optimal results. Having only one period of downtime adds to the benefit.

Facelift: $16,120 to $17,000

A facelift addresses the lower portion of your face and neck.  Cost will vary depending on the techniques necessary and the amount of time needed in the operating room. Visit our Facelift page.

Blepharoplasty: $4,454 to $8,314

The cost of eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) depends on whether the upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both are included in the operation.  Another determining factor is the type of anesthesia required. Visit our Eyelid Surgery page.

Forehead and Brow Lift: $5,365 to $12,854

The cost of forehead surgery depends on whether it is performed as a stand-alone surgery or combined with upper eyelids, lower eyelids, or both. The 3 procedures are often combined to provide optimal results. Visit our Forehead and Brow Lift page.

Rhinoplasty: $12,860 to $16,710

Factors such as the surgery’s complexity, whether it is a secondary surgery, and the technique used can all affect the final cost. Visit our Rhinoplasty page.

Otoplasty (Ear Pinning): $6,600 to $7,635

The cost for otoplasty will vary based on the type of anesthesia needed. Some patients can tolerate the procedure under local anesthesia, while others will require a full surgical team under general anesthesia.  Visit our Otoplasty page.

Nonsurgical Treatment Costs

We have included the price of some popular nonsurgical treatments in addition to plastic surgery procedures available at our office. Less expensive alternatives to plastic surgery can be just what you need; however, not all patients may be good candidates for these options. Please be mindful that some treatments may require additional preparation, which adds to the total expense.

BOTOX® Cosmetic & Dysport®: $13 per unit

The price of your filler treatment will vary based on the product used, the areas being treated, and the amount needed to create the desired result.  Filler and botulinum toxin injections are often combined during a single appointment. Visit our BOTOX® Cosmetic & Dysport® page.

Dermal Fillers: Starting at $550 per syringe

The price of your filler treatment will vary based on the product used, the areas being treated, and the amount needed to create the desired result. Filler and botulinum toxin injections are often combined during a single appointment. Visit our Dermal Fillers page.
